Pupils are referred to Lansdown Park through the Local Authorities of Bristol City Council (Key Stage 1-3) and BANES (Key Stage 1-2)
Lansdown Park is a Pupil Referral Unit and Early Intervention Base supporting pupils who primarily have an SEMH need.
Pupils are placed at Lansdown Park following either a Permanent Exclusion or through a Preventative placement. These placements are agreed through panels that meet at set times throughout the year.
Lansdown Park is not a permanent setting and pupils will be placed on time limited pathways. These usually run for 12 and 16 weeks though this can be extended to a year for pupils requiring additional support.
